We decided to hop on the band wagon and give the trendy whipped coffee drink its own HDC flair. Dalgona Coffee, or 'quarantine coffee', gained popularity during the stay at home orders in South Korea. With everyone desperate to shake up their at-home routine, many have decided to give this whipped coffee trend a try in their own kitchens.
Dalgona Coffee is made by whipping together instant coffee, sugar and boiling water. From there you simply top your iced milk with the whipped coffee mixture and enjoy! For our take on this drink, we wanted to take it a step further and booze it up with our ever-popular HDC Coffee Vodka.
HDC Dalgona Coffee
2 tbs Instant Coffee
2 tbs Granulated Sugar
2 tbs Boiling Water
4 oz Milk of choice
1.5 oz HDC Coffee Vodka
Combine instant coffee, sugar and water. Whisk with a hand mixer until the mixture thickens into stiff peaks. In a tumbler of ice, combine milk and HDC Coffee Vodka, then spoon the whipped coffee on top. With a straw or spoon, mix together as desired and enjoy!
