TEMPORARY FULL TIME BOTTLING LINE OPERATOR - GIG HARBOR

Are you a hard working, motivated self-starter, with a strong desire to be an integral part of a fast

part of a team focused on producing award winning spirits? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are looking to fill this temporary role with a full time person to meet the production demands of the
upcoming Holiday season. The work is seasonal, and will run through the month of November.

Job Purpose:
The Bottling Line Operator works directly with the Production Lead and Bottling Lead. The Bottling Line
Operator deals with filling, packaging, and quality control of all HDC spirits. Our production is diverse
and growing and requires a strong support staff and understanding of the daily operations within and
outside of the distillery. An ideal Bottling Line Coordinator is flexible and knowledgeable regarding the
many different aspects of production as well as of our company.

Who we want on our team:
An individual who takes personal and professional pride in producing award winning Spirits, with a
strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications:
● Must be able to be on feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs.
● Flexible schedule and availability with prompt and regular attendance when scheduled.
● Upon hiring, must obtain a current state alcohol pouring permit.
● Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.
● Must be 21 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Takes part in the bottling and packaging process of all HDC Spirits which includes manual and
digital machinery to rinse, label, fill, cap/seal, and package cased product for delivery.
● Gains knowledge and ability to set up, change, clean, and run all equipment used in the bottling
line.
● Interfaces with Production Leadership and takes action with bottling schedules.
● Follows and ensures all quality control measures are met with every single bottle that goes
through the bottling line.
● Utilize HDC’s organizational methods, including database and inventory software.
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment that promotes efficiency and safety.
● Complete other special projects as assigned.

Expectations:
● Appropriate dress that also meets safety standards for different production aspects and also for
special events.
● Hard working, independent, multi-tasking, and sets the highest professional example in daily
duties for both internal projects and those that serve our customers and clients.
● Ability to address any questions, concerns, or problems to Production Leadership.
● Represents HDC professionally at both on-site and off-site events as needed.
● Provide support to any other coworker or customer as needed.

Working Conditions:
The Bottling Staff position is located in a working distillery. Conditions can range from warm in
the summer to cold in the winter. Hours may vary from morning to evening, weekdays and
weekends, based on production schedules and special events. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

 

Tasting Room Associate - Ballard

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pour samples and educate customers about Heritage Distilling Company products in our Tasting Rooms, both for on-site and some off-site events. Adhere to all State and Federal laws pertaining to the sampling and serving of alcoholic products.
  • Maintain accuracy in cash handling including customer transactions and opening/closing daily shifts in the Point of Sale system.
  • Answer the phone, assist with inventory counts, stock the Tasting Room with products and merchandise, and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Keep the Tasting Room clean in accordance with set standards, which includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, doing dishes, and wiping windows.
  • Represent HDC professionally at all times, during both on-site and off-site events.
  • Provide support to the Lead and Head Distillers including (and is not limited to) bottling, labeling, and prepping supplies.
  • Other special projects as assigned by the Director of Customer Service.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:

The Tasting Room Associate position is located in a working distillery. Conditions can range from warm in the summer to cold in the winter. Hours may vary from morning to evening, weekdays and weekends, based on production schedules and special events. Special events may take place off site in varying conditions.

Physical Requirements:

It is expected that the person in this position can tolerate standing for long periods of time and have the ability to lift moderately heavy boxes and carry them up and down stairs. When assisting with production, the tasks may be repetitive in nature.
