Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, preferred.
  • Five or more years proven experience in increasing sales and revenue, this includes core selling skills, negotiation and presentation to individuals, groups, and closing.
  • Five or more years in a Territory Sales Manager role, preferred. Have a proven track record of success leading, managing and motivating teams.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
  • Must be willing to travel 50-75% within territory with occasional overnight travel to corporate and other locations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bartending experience, preferred.

Production assistant - dump and blend team - Gig Harbor

Are you mission focused with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail?     If so, this could be the opportunity for you. We are looking to fill this role for the A.M. and P.M. work shift. The A.M. shift is 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. The P.M. shift is 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Job Purpose:

The ‘Dump and Blend’ Production Assistant works directly with the Dump and Blend Production Lead. The Production Assistant deals with the combining, blending, and proofing process from the starting point of raw materials to finished spirits ready for bottling. Our production is diverse and growing and requires a strong support staff and understanding of the daily operations within and outside of the distillery. An ideal Production Assistant is flexible and knowledgeable regarding the many different aspects of production as well as of our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the process of proofing and blending vodka, gin and whiskey and ensures quality control and flavor profiles consistently meet HDC high standards.
  • Has strong knowledge of production processes and how and when all equipment is used.
  • Knowledgeable of all recipes and flavor profiles for each spirit.
  • Interfaces with Production Leadership and takes action with production and weekly schedules.
  • Ability to set up, change, clean, and run all equipment used in the proofing and blending process.
  • Accurately collects and records relevant data.
  • Utilize HDC’s organizational methods, including database and inventory software.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment that promotes efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Proofing and gauging experience with calibrated hydrometers and thermometers preferred.
  • Distilling knowledge and/or experience preferred.
  • Experience and mechanical knowledge with FIP and diaphragm pumps, preferred.
  • Must be able to be on feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Experience driving machinery, including a forklift, preferred.
  • Upon hiring, must obtain a current state alcohol pouring permit.
  • Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.

TRANSFER COORDINATOR - gig harbor

We seek a motivated self-starter and team player who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Forklift certified, preferred.
  • Ability to be on feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • This is a full-time position. The candidate must also have a flexible schedule and availability.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ability to utilize inventory software and company technology.
  • Attention to detail in order to perform cycle counts as required, and follow through on discrepancies as needed. Report back-orders or discrepancies as they occur.
  • Ensure all transfer requests are complete, pallets are wrapped, and paperwork is always included on pallets.
  • Effective communication via phone and email. Coordinate and communicate transfer logistics to all applicable points of contact.
  • Assist in other general warehouse duties, to include loading and unloading, overall organization and clean-up.
  • Provide merchandise assistance as needed, to include pricing, inventory, and sorting large deliveries.
  • Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Perform work in a safe, timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Provides consistent, excellent customer service both internally and to outside vendors and customers.
  • Professionally represent HDC both in person and in writing.

Working Conditions

Job Purpose:
The Production Assistant works directly with the Director of Production and the Production Lead. The
Production Assistant deals with the distillation process from the starting point of raw materials to
finished spirits coming off our stills. Our production is diverse and growing and requires a strong support
staff and understanding of the daily operations within and outside of the distillery. An ideal Production
Assistant is flexible and knowledgeable regarding the many different aspects of production as well as of
our company. We are looking to hire two full time employees for this role. One for the A.M. shift, with
working hours of 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily. And one for the P.M. shift, with working hours from 11:30
a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

● Takes part in production operations for the process of distilling including handling raw materials,
mashing, fermentation, and cleaning regiments.

flavor profiles meet HDC’s standards.
● Has knowledge of production processes and how and when all equipment is used.
● Gains general knowledge of all recipes and flavor profiles for each spirit.

regarding the many different aspects of production as well as of our company.

manage the 4 General Managers that encompass our 6 retail locations. This position will be based in Gig
Harbor. As a District Manager you enjoy the journey of developing extraordinary General Managers, creating
great customer experiences, impacting growth across HDC stores and being part of local communities. At
HDC we are performance driven, you direct a multi-unit portfolio of stores by planning strategies and
consistent implementation. You are a leader of leaders, developing diverse teams that know their markets,
communities and customers.

Using your past retail leadership experience you will:
Grow a portfolio of successful businesses: develop district-level strategies to achieve each store’s
financial, operational and customer-service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths
and challenges.
Lead a team of leaders: motivate, coach and strengthen Store Managers as team leaders, retail
operators and business owners.
Serve as a resource: provide expertise on key customer issues, team staffing and management, store
operations and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of retail experience managing 2 or more stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory,
operations and customer service required.
● 5+ years of management experience leading a team of 4 or more, including training and coaching,
with strong leadership and communication skills required.
● 3+ years of experience in a customer service oriented role required.
● Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations and
financial reporting preferred.
● Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
● Minimum High School or GED. Note: a college degree in business or a closely related field, OR 4+
years of US Military service may substitute for a portion of the required experience.
● Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.
● Ability to provide excellent customer service.
● Ensure a safe, clean and service oriented work environment.
● Obtain MAST 12 Pouring Card and Food Handler’s Permit for WA State.

Physical Requirements:
It is expected that the person in this position can tolerate standing for long periods of time and have the
ability to lift moderately heavy boxes and carry them up and down stairs. When assisting with
production, the tasks may be repetitive in nature.
