TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE - GIG HARBOR

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provide an exceptional customer service experience and education to every patron that walks
through our doors. Pour samples and educate customers about Heritage Distilling Company
products in our Tasting Rooms, both for on-site and some off-site events. Adhere to all State
and Federal laws pertaining to the sampling and serving of alcoholic products.
● Maintain accuracy in cash handling including customer transactions and opening/closing daily
shifts in the Point of Sale system.
● Answer the phone, assist with inventory counts, stock the Tasting Room with products and
merchandise, and prepare orders for shipping.
● Keep the Tasting Room clean in accordance with set standards.
● Represent HDC professionally at all times, during both on-site and off-site events.
● Provide support to the Lead and Head Distillers including (and is not limited to) bottling,
labeling, and prepping supplies.
● Other special projects as assigned by the Director of Customer Service.

Expectations:
● Appropriate dress at all times in the Tasting Room and for special events. When assisting with
bottling, clothing must also meet safety standards.
● Attention to detail and pride in work for both internal projects and those that serve our
customers and clients.
● The ability to problem-solve and use sound judgment and work without direct supervision.
● Communicate Tasting Room needs to management, such as inventory levels or equipment
malfunctions.
● Willingness to be a part of a team and assume necessary duties as needed.
● Attend company-wide and department staff meetings as indicated by the Director of Customer
Service.

Qualifications:
● Must be 21 years of age.
● Obtain current State Alcohol Pouring certification.
● Obtain current State Food Handlers Certification.
● Ability to use a computer and learn our Point of Sale system, Distillery Manager software
program and other programs used by HDC.
● Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.
● Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:
The Tasting Room Associate position is located in a working distillery. Conditions can range from warm
in the summer to cold in the winter. Hours may vary from morning to evening, weekdays and
weekends, based on production schedules and special events. Special events may take place off site in
varying conditions.

Physical Requirements:
It is expected that the person in this position can tolerate standing for long periods of time and have the
ability to lift moderately heavy boxes and carry them up and down stairs. When assisting with
production, the tasks may be repetitive in nature.

 Engineering & Maintenance Technician - GIG HARBOR

Job Purpose:
The Engineering/Maintenance Technician position plays a vital role in Distillery Production and is an
adjunct to the Engineering Team. This role’s primary focus will be to maintain production equipment
and keep it in optimal condition to prevent unplanned downtime. This position will anticipate
maintenance needs and provide preventive maintenance activities in the form of spare parts
inventories, process improvements and organization and implementation of outside repair services as
required. In addition, assistance will be rendered on projects proposed and approved for
implementation by the Process Engineer. Though this position is primarily based at the Flagship/Gig
Harbor Facility, occasional duties will be performed at any of the 6 HDC distilleries, to include our
locations in Seattle, Roslyn and Eugene, OR.

A highly skilled and motivated Technician with a can-do attitude, and the ability to get the mission done
through persistence and ingenuity. This role is critical in enabling our systems to continue to meet the
high demand and fast paced nature of our production facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Learn form and function of distillery unit operations and bottling operations.
● Provide on-call and after-hours assistance when machine issues arise.
● Perform emergency repair activities when production equipment fails.
● Initiate/manage the services of outside resources when in-house means are not adequate to
solve production issues.
● Maintain contact information of outside resources for maintenance.
● Maintain onsite spare parts inventory for critical production equipment.
● Maintain onsite tools required for equipment service.
● Perform preventive maintenance activities as required.
● Propose/implement minor process improvements as approved by Process Engineer.

Qualifications:
● Minimum of 21 years of age.
● B.S. in Engineering preferred.
● 5 years of experience in maintaining mechanical systems required.
● Pipe fitting skills preferred (threading, cutting, doping, wrenching).
● Able to work with a diverse group of Production Line workers.
● Able to lift 50 lb. objects.

E-COMMERCE MANAGER - GIG HARBOR

● A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Hospitality or related field preferred.
● 3-5 years progressive E-Commerce experience preferred. A strong track record in E-
Commerce may be considered in addition to a degree in a non-related field.
● Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task
and meet deadlines.
● Strong communication, leadership, analytical and organizational skills.
● Strong understanding of online merchandising.
● Understanding of technical details and familiarity with the Shopify E-Commerce platform,
SEO, SEM and CRM.
● Must be at least 21 years of age.

Duties and responsibilities:
● Perform work in a safe, timely, efficient and professional manner.
● Provide consistent, excellent customer service.
● Ability to manage multiple projects at once and delegate responsibilities, as needed.
● Driven by results.
● Prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
● Attention to detail in order to perform cycle counts as required and follow through on
discrepancies as needed. Report back orders or discrepancies.
● Ability to utilize database and inventory software.
● Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives and team members alike.
● Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, and Google Analytics.
● Complete other special projects as assigned.

Working Conditions
The E-Commerce Manager position is located in a working warehouse. Warm to cold
temperatures are common. Hours may vary from morning to evening, weekdays and
weekends, based on production schedules and special events. While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl.
