The Classic Mint Julep

Fresh Mint
Ice
 
In a mint julep (metal) cup, muddle simple syrup, bourbon and fresh mint together. Fill the cup with crushed ice and combine it. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with a bundle of fresh mint. Enjoy!
