Delivery Driver and Warehouse Support – Flagship

Job Purpose

Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Makes pick-ups as necessary. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Our production is diverse and growing and requires a strong support staff and understanding of the daily operations within and outside of the distillery. An ideal Delivery Driver and Warehouse Support staff is flexible and knowledgeable regarding the many different aspects of production as well of our company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load truck accurately and safely for deliveries.
  • Unload truck as needed at customer and/or branch locations.
  • Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record.
  • Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations.
  • Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
  • Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed.
  • Know location of product and supplies in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away.
  • Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability.
  • Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
  • Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed. Report back orders or discrepancies.
  • Utilize HDC’s organizational methods, including database and inventory software.
  • Represent HDC professionally at both on-site and off-site events as needed.
  • Provide support to any other coworker or customer as needed.
  • Other special projects as needed for the Director of Production, Director of Operations & Logistics, and Lead Distillers.

  • Ability to address any questions, concerns, or problems to the Lead and Head Distillers.
  • Report any safety precautions or near misses/injuries to Lead or Head Distillers to help ensure safety measures are met.
  • Willingness to be a part of a team and assume duties as needed not described here as necessary.
  • Attend weekly Production meeting to review production and bottling schedule.

Qualifications

  • Ability to be on feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule and availability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prompt and regular attendance when scheduled.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CDL License.
  • Forklift Certified.

Working Conditions

The Delivery Drive and Warehouse Support position is located in a working distillery.   Conditions can range from warm in the summer to cold in the winter.  Hours may vary from morning to evening, weekdays and weekends, based on production schedules and special events.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 lbs. and up to 25 lbs. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

Physical Requirements

Our main facility does not have an elevator.  It is expected that the person in this position can tolerate standing for long periods of time and have the ability to lift moderately heavy boxes and carry them up and down stairs.  When assisting with production, the tasks may be repetitive in nature.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.

Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is a critical member of Heritage Distilling Company, Inc. (“HDC”) This role guides financial decisions and protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures and internal controls. This role will be involved in business planning, execution and accountability of plan v. budget.  The role monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors. The candidate will need to learn all aspects of Heritage Distilling Company and would possess knowledge of general principles of accounting and payroll functions.

  • Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans
  • Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Provide status of financial condition; collecting, interpreting, and reporting data
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Responsible for general ledger reconciliation and analysis of financial accounts.
  • Provide end of month close and produce monthly P&L’s.

This is a full time customer service position. Duties range from serving tasting flights to customers and educating them about our products to restocking and cleaning. A friendly and helpful attitude is necessary. Evening and weekend shifts included. Current MAST certification and Food Handling Certificates are also required as well as the ability to use a point of sale system and to lift 50 pounds. You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this position.

Tasting Room Associate

This is a full time customer service position. Duties range from serving tasting flights to customers and educating them about our products to restocking and cleaning. A friendly and helpful attitude is necessary. Evening and weekend shifts included. Production Assistant

The Production Assistant Position deals with all aspects of production from the starting point of raw materials to finished product being bottled and provides support to the Lead Distillers, Head Distiller, General Manager, Event Coordinator, and the Cask Club Manger of Heritage Distilling Company, Inc. (“HDC”). Our production is diverse and growing and requires a strong support staff and understanding of the daily operations within and outside of the distillery. An ideal Production Assistant is flexible and knowledgeable regarding the many different aspects of production as well of our company.
