What to do with a Spirits Advent Calendar after Advent has started…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You LOVE your Spirits Advent Calendar (I mean who wouldn't love 24 craft distilled whiskeys, gins and vodkas that are perfect for getting you into the 'spirit' of the holidays!) but you didn't get it until 5 days after Advent started! What are you going to do? Does this mean you have to wait until next year? Absolutely not!!! Here are a few suggestions:

Play catch up
Each mini in the calendar is just about a shot worth of spirit so make yourself a drink… or two

Find an Advent buddy
Start on Dec 13th with your advent buddy and you each get one a day for the last 12 days of Advent[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Use it as a party game
Put the numbers 1-24 in a bowl and have your guests pick and open that numbers window. Then they get to make a cocktail out of whatever product they end up with. Have a selection of common mixers and garnishes handy- club soda, sprite, tonic, cranberry juice, oj, lemon and lime wedges, etc

Step up your party game and make it a ‘cocktail making contest’. After your guests have picked a number and pulled out a bottle let them go to town! Get even more creative with your cocktail supplies:  bitters, mango juice, pineapple juice, hot cider, cocoa or coffee. Bring out some flavored creamers like Hazelnut or peppermint. Whoever wins gets a prize- their very own Advent Calendar! [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/4"][vc_column_text]

Dump all the bottles into a bowl and let your guests make their own cocktails. Give them the option to pick their own favorite spirit. You will be surprised at who loves what![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="3/4"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Open the  Spirits Advent Calendar and…
Pull out all of your favorite spirits and use the rest for hostess gifts or stocking stuffers! Or maybe even save a few for those grown up Easter baskets you put together![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
